Carmen was photographed at "Runway to Reality", a collaborative exhibit featuring work by photographer Maurene Cooper and fashion designer Suzette Opara. They combined photography and garment design to explore the prom ritual in the South Side. The event was held at the gorgeous Stony Island Arts Bank, a space run by acclaimed artist Theaster Gates.
