Nermin

chicago street style fashion

Graphic designer Nermin Moufti was photographed at the 8th Typeforce - the annual Chicago show of emerging typographic stars, taking place at the Co-Prosperity Sphere in Bridgeport. She was standing by her own work, entitled Encoding Resistance, in which she used paper weaving and cross stitching - among other media - as an homage to traditional Syrian crafts. Her goal was to "question the role of type and editorial design in shaping information." See more of her work at nerminmoufti.com.
