According to his T-shirt, Willie Bigs has 99 problems—but style certainly isn't one of them. The turban-topped fashionisto, hailing from Austin on the city's west side, was wearing only black until recently, when he reintroduced white to his wardrobe. Friends have urged the 17-year-old to add more color, but he's in no hurry. When the time is right, he says, "I'll go for pink first." The aspiring model refuses to leave the house before a long mirror check: "I don't go places looking any type of way," he says. "I gotta look right." Apparently attention to detail isn't one of his problems either.
Willie was also featured in my Chicago Reader column.
