Help Koko Grow

Kokorokoko is certainly one of my favorite vintage shops - I'm a sucker for 80's gowns and acid wash denim, what can I do? It also doubles as one of my fave places to shoot people. They throw the best parties there, always promoting local artists and designers (check their Facebook page to see what's going on).

Now they're about to move and need a tad of help, find out more about their campaign and take a peek at their cool store below:

Be a part of It!

You can be a part of our expansion by helping us cover the costs of moving.  Your support will enable us to smoothly transition within the next month and a half to our new space on Milwaukee Ave. Funds will help cover the costs building new fixtures, hangers, painting supplies and other incidentals. When we reopen in the first week of September we will have a wider selection of one of a kind hand-picked vintage clothing and accessories as well as hand made jewelry and art work. We are creating a limited number of custom pins, t shirts and hand made thank you cards to let you know how much we appreciate your support. We are also offering gift certificates and other incentives to say "Thank You" for your generosity.
One of the most rewarding parts of running Kokorokoko on a day to day basis is the community that has grown up around us. When we opened in 2009 we brought a whole new flavor to the vintage scene. Clothing from the 80s and early 90s was just beginning to be recognized as "vintage" Everyday we get feedback from our customers letting us know we are an important part of the fashion landscape in Chicago. Kokorokoko is a sustainable small business that provides a unique way for people to express themselves while keeping money in the local economy by recycling.
Thank you all for your support and love!
